🇮🇹 Lasorte Cuadra - Valle d'Itria in Puglia
““Lasorte Cuadra’s pioneering approach with indigenous Puglian varieties is truly paying off.””
Based in the Valle d'Itria in Puglia, Lasorte Cuadra was founded by husband and wife Roberto Lasorte and Stephanie Cuadra through a partnership with the region's only surviving traditional wine co-operative. They are committed to preserving the viticultural heritage of this limestone plateau nestled between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas—where indigenous grape varieties are, at long last, ready to emerge as the new protagonists of quality-driven winemaking in one of southern Italy's most fascinating, yet under-explored, rural landscapes. Lasorte Cuadra produces a flagship field blend SILOS \ Valle d'Itria IGT Bianco, as well as artisanal batches of their house vermouths Epopira Dry and Epopira Dolce. Their latest innovation, LI QUI DO Apulian Wine Cartons, represents a pioneering venture into premium boxed wines, rescuing exceptional lots from anonymity while challenging convention with superior quality in an eco-conscious format.

LÌ QUÌ DÒ®️ represents a rescue mission for exceptional wine lots that would otherwise disappear into anonymous bulk markets. Born from the collaboration between Lasorte Cuadra and UPAL Cantina Sociale di Cisternino—the last surviving cellar cooperative in the Valle d'Itria of Puglia—these premium boxed wines challenge conventions while preserving centuries of winemaking tradition. At 500 meters above sea level on Puglia's ancient limestone plateau, family farms employ generational knowledge and agro-ecological practices free of synthetic agents and pesticides. These unsung heroes of environmental stewardship are ancestrally adept at responding, individually and collectively, to irregular growing seasons through biodiversity-based solutions. While the cooperative movement faces challenges from collapsing rural populations, it remains one of the most powerful means for the continuity of small-scale farming traditions. With LÌ QUÌ DÒ, we support this fading but vital legacy.
One (3l) box of LÌ QUÌ DÒ = FOUR STANDARD bottles of wine
LÌ QUÌ DÒ wines are made with indigenous varieties including Susumaniello and Verdeca, which have thrived for centuries in the Valle d’Itria. Unlike Puglia’s ubiquitous sun-baked coastal wines, this cooler climate produces naturally lower ABV wines with beautiful freshness and perfect balance. These carefully selected lots challenge tradition by boxing premium wines that rarely leave Italy, delivering authentic Apulian character with unprecedented advantages: extended freshness that maintains quality for weeks after opening, zero waste through eliminated oxidation and pour-loss, consistent quality from first glass to last, operational efficiency with simplified storage and service, reduced environmental impact through lighter packaging, and a compelling story of provenance and purpose that resonates with conscious consumers.
