The Valle d'Itria has always been white wine country—a limestone plateau of trulli dwellings and ancient vines where Verdeca and Minutolo have been grown long before anyone thought to put wine in a box. LÌ QUÌ DÒ Bianco, made with the UPAL Cantina Sociale di Cisternino, the last surviving wine cooperative in the region, brings both varieties together in a crisp, easy-drinking blend at 12% ABV—refreshing and unfussy, yet quietly distinctive. Stainless steel aging keeps the aromatics of Minutolo, one of Puglia's most characterful indigenous whites, front and center. The cooperative's agro-ecological farming practices, passed down through generations, add to this wine’s straightforward sense of place.
